What to include
- A short description of the object or material, and where you encountered it.
- The claims you were given, copied exactly as they were written.
- The records you already hold, described by type and date.
- Whether you would like your question printed, and whether your name may appear with it.
What not to send
Please do not send passwords, bank details, identity documents or personal health information. We have no use for them, and we would rather they never reach us.
What happens next
A person at the journal reads each message and replies in writing. When we publish an answer, we ask first whether you want your name attached to it.
